Kate Murphy

Kate Murphy is the founder of Curate My Chaos, a professional organizing company serving families across Durham Region, Ontario and beyond. Trained by Marie Kondo in the KonMari Method, Kate is known for her warm, intuitive approach and her ability to create calm, functional homes through systems that actually work for real life. Her philosophy is simple: when your home feels calm, everything else follows.

Before becoming a professional organizer, Kate worked as a teacher, and draws on her background in education and educational psychology to help families build habits, routines, and systems that truly stick. As a mom to two girls, she deeply understands the realities of busy family life and believes organization should support life, not add pressure to it.

With years of experience guiding families through every stage of life, Kate combines expert organization with genuine care. While she can organize just about anything, she has a special love for closets and kitchens, where thoughtful systems can make the biggest day-to-day impact.

Kate leads a team of skilled, compassionate organizers who share her belief that peace at home isn’t about perfection—it’s about creating space for what matters most. Together, they bring clarity, confidence, and calm to homes across Durham Region, helping families rediscover ease in their everyday.
